MathPad requires no sign-up, has no ads and collects no personal data. Exercises, saved sums and settings stay on your device.
Your settings (language, colour, calculation method), the sums you save with their drawings and your daily streak. All of it lives only on your device and disappears if you uninstall the app. Nothing is sent anywhere.
If the app crashes, a technical report is sent to Sentry so we can fix it: device model, system version, app version and where the failure happened. It contains no personal data and none of your exercise content. The same applies to messages you deliberately send from the feedback button.
The photo is cropped to the frame and the text is recognised on the device itself. It is not sent to any server, ours or a third party’s, and it is not saved to your gallery: it is used to read the sum and then discarded.
MathPad can be used by anyone, including children, which is why it has no advertising, no in-app purchases, no social features and no personal data collection. We do not ask for name, email, age or location.
Camera: only to scan a sum, and only while that screen is open. Internet: only to send crash reports. Nothing else.
Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing to request or delete on our servers. Uninstalling the app removes everything local. If you have questions, write to us.
